    What are your fees?

My fee is currently $200/hour for therapy services. I reserve the right to review my rates once per year. I do have some reduced fee spots available.

My fee for EMDR consultation is $200/hour. However, I am committed to making EMDR consultation and certification more accessible, therefore if you cannot afford my hourly rate, please contact me directly and we may be able to come to an agreement for a reduced fee for consultation.

My fee for writing letters for gender affirming care is a flat rate of $100 for the face to face evaluation and writing of the letter.

I accept San Diego Medi-Cal. However, as I am not a Medicare provider, I cannot take on clients who have both Medi-Cal and Medicare.

    Do you take insurance?

I currently take San Diego Medi-Cal (Medicaid).

If you have Medicare, either alone or with Medi-Cal, I cannot take you as a client, even if you want to pay out of pocket. (Due to Medicare regulations).

If you have PPO insurance, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement of our sessions. However, you will be responsible for payment up front.

    What are your office hours?

    Monday through Thursday.

    Evening appointments available.

    Do you offer telehealth?

Yes I do offer telehealth services (therapy done by video) for anyone in the state of California. This is because telehealth is considered to be therapy happening wherever you, the client, are located. I am only licensed in the state of California, therefore, you must be in California at the time of service.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most common questions that I get, if you cannot find the answer to your questions here, please feel to reach out and contact me here.

    Good Faith Estimates:

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
