  • EMDR training and consultation

Getting trained in EMDR training is just the beginning of your EMDR journey.

Despite the length of EMDR Basic training and the sheer volume of information you learn in it, it’s only the tip of the iceberg.

On-going training, consultation & community are key to being a good EMDR therapist.

Don’t let EMDR Basic training be the end of your journey.

Those who don’t continue with consultation and training often stop using EMDR.

And they can fall away from practicing EMDR the way it was meant to be practiced, leaving them at risk of it either being ineffective or harmful to their clients.

I recognize that getting trained and then certified in EMDR therapy is a privilege due to the costs associated with it.

There are ways to mitigate this cost, from peer consultation groups, to FB groups, to continued reading, to offerings of pro-bono or low cost consultation for certain demographics of therapists.

I am passionate about supporting the next generation of EMDR therapists to be knowledgeable and skillful in how they practice.

It is also important to me that I support therapists from groups that have been traditionally marginalized or excluded from these spaces.
