Gun violence statement

I am exhausted. I am exhausted by the endless cycle of violence, of police killing of black and brown people, and of gun violence. I am exhausted by a system that is set up to pit us against each other. I am exhausted by the systems of white supremacy, patriarchy, and settler colonialism and how they intertwine and support each other. And I know that if I am exhausted as a privileged white woman, that this is but a shadow of what BIPOC people feel. Take care of yourselves, take care of your people and communities. We can be exhausted and we can take care of ourselves so we can continue to fight.
