  • More about me

Hello. Taking this opportunity to introduce myself to you if you are new here and remind you a little bit about me if you’re not.

I’ve been a psychologist for almost 20 years now, which is wild to me. It’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do and I LOVE what I do. For me, it’s less a job and more of a calling.

Working with trauma survivors in particular is something that has always been important to me and fortunately, I find that I am good at this work.

And when I got trained in EMDR therapy my work really started to change and evolve and improve. I’ve had clients say in amazement that it feels like magic. And it does when we get it right.

But it’s not magic, we have a lot of science behind the fact that it works and it takes careful planning and preparation to do it well.

But the effects are magical, I have seen it with my clients and experienced it in my own therapy.

That is why I am so passionate about helping get other clinicians trained to be strong, capable EMDR therapists to help our most complex clients heal. That’s what spurred me to become a Consultant-In-Training, something I expect to finish in the middle of this year.

Right now I offer extremely reduced rates while I remain in training, and once I am a full consultant I will continue to offer reduced rates to those from historically marginalized groups (if needed) because I know we need to greatly diversify the ranks of certified EMDR therapists. It’s one of the ways that I want to use my privilege to give back.

I am glad you’re here. I hope this page provides useful information and hope.
