This weekend I read A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid. It’s described as “an atmospheric tale of self-discovery…with a focus on the struggles of women in a patriarchal society.”

It was a well done book and towards the end is this quote, “You don’t have to take up a sword. Survival is bravery too.”

This is such an important message for people with trauma and who are trying to heal from things they don’t ever speak of.
