  • What if…

I know that so many things can get in the way of taking needed steps into new spaces, or behaving in new ways.

Sometimes we worry about all the negative things that can happen. This is totally understandable as many of us have lived through situations that taught us it is better to identify any negative thing that might happen for it so that we can be prepared.

Unfortunately, when this is our reality we are likely to train our brain to only search for these bad, negative or scary possibilities. We totally overlook or forget to ask ourselves about the possible positive things that may happen.

To only consider the possible problems is sometimes lauded as realistic, but it’s just as skewed as only look at the positive and pretending the negative doesn’t exist.

We need to train our brains to also scan for and consider positive possible outcomes, because they happen too.
