So many of us are running from something inside of us.
Sometimes it is traumatic memories from the past.
Sometimes it is the knowledge of who we truly are or who we truly love.
Sometimes it is feelings.
Sometimes it is the fallout from bad decisions.
Regardless, this effort is ultimately futile. Eventually the defenses will fall, eventually it will catch up with you.
And if you want to heal and not have to keep running, then therapy is the place to do that.
It is that paradoxical place where you both learn to love yourself now, and learn to grow into the person you really want to be.
There is no better time than right now to take that step and ask for the help you need.
