Change is possible, but not until we face what we are afraid to face. Perhaps it is your past. Perhaps it is a part of yourself you wish to deny. Perhaps it is family dysfunction. Perhaps it is the bad decisions you have made.

Regardless, it must be faced to be healed. And although we cannot change the past, we can change how we feel about it. We can change the meaning we make of it and the conclusions we draw from it about ourselves, our relationships and the world.

This is why EMDR is so very powerful in the healing process. It gets at how the information is stored in the brain and helps to finally digest it so that a clearer, more accurate picture of ourselves is possible. For more information about EMDR click the link in my bio.
