I heard this line in a song in high school and it has stuck with me ever since.

When you have gone through traumatic experiences and are acting in ways that don’t make sense to you, you are living what is still held inside of you. It is time to let it out and to let it heal.

When you are figuring out what your gender or sexual identity is, and as you go through different iterations of yourself in search of what feels true, then you are living what’s inside.

And when you figure it out, and you live your truth and you live having healed the hurt of the past, then you are a beautiful, shining example of living what is inside of you.

I see you, whatever place you are in your journey. You are amazing and you are loved.
