One thing I hear from trauma survivors when they talk about reluctance to seek out therapy is this idea that nothing can change the past or make it better.

Therapy is not about changing the past or making what happened to you better. It is about helping you to hold it differently, to see it differently so that it no longer weighs you down.

Therapy is about helping give you tools so that you can make it through what is going on, to make it through looking at the past so that it can be laid to rest.

My passion is helping people to let go of the pain from their past, to live more fully in the present, and to develop hope for the future. If that sounds like something you are interested in click the link in my bio to find out more.
