Surviving to Thriving
When you have grown up in a situation that was abusive, neglectful or chaotic you learned to survive in that environment. But once you have grown up and gotten out of that situation many of those skills will no longer serve you. And it may not always be obvious that you are now in a position to thrive instead of just survive. This is often because we tend to repeat what we know, getting into similar relationships and situations.
