• Your Fear

    Fear will have you believing the worst things about yourself, others and the world.

    And when in times of high stress such as these and the fear is heightened, our focus tends to narrow to look for that which is dangerous and to not pay attention to that which is neutral or positive.

    Some level of fear is helpful as it motivates us to evaluate ourselves and surroundings for danger and take appropriate caution. When it is chronic and on-going it is less helpful as it taxes our energy, attention and immune system.

    I am not saying fear is wrong in this situation, I am saying that it needs to be tempered. It is not all doom and gloom, even if it feels that way right now. Take a deep breath. You will get through this. We will get through this.

    Fear is a liar.
