Tattoo self-disclosure

So I got my second tattoo today. It is the Psi which is the symbol for psychology. This work that I do is not just a job to me, it is a calling, something that I was put on this earth to do. It is the only thing I can ever remember truly wanting to do. And I remember being in 7th grade English class and we had  to write a newspaper article about us in the future, and I wrote about how I cured Schizophrenia :). That may not have been my destiny in particular, but working with folks who hear voices and see things, whether because of psychosis or trauma has been an honor and never phased me. As cheesy and corny as it may sound, I am truly blessed  to do the work that I do and help folks on their healing journey.
